Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our internal IT infrastructure, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop, network, and communication systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide internal desktop maintenance support and basic network maintenance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to DHCP/DNS.
  • Respond promptly to and resolve Office 365 issues; draft and maintain relevant maintenance documentation.
  • Manage and maintain on-premises domain controllers and deploy/optimize policies in the cloud-based Office 365 environment.
  • Participate in the design and optimization of the architectural framework for various company application systems and maintenance platforms.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to assist with other IT operations-related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain PBX and related communication systems.

Requirements

  • Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting Local Active Directory (AD) environments; familiar with Azure AD Connect services and experienced in hybrid Azure AD maintenance and deployment.
  • 2+ years of experience in Office 365 operations, with strong skills in fault response, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Experience managing email systems in medium to large enterprises is preferred; knowledgeable in email systems, gateways, attack prevention, auditing, and archiving.
  • Programming/scripting skills, with experience using PowerShell for Azure AD module management.
  • 1+ year of experience in project tracking and technical documentation writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PBX systems and related communication platforms.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Work location: Santa Clara, onsite daily
Salary range: 95K – 120K
