Job Title: Product Engineer

About the job:

FULL-TIME/PERMANENT

JOB FUNCTION: As a NPI Engineer you will provide support and technical guidance or assessment in new product/process development programs. You will be mainly working with printed circuit boards (PCBA) in an electronic-manufacturing setting. Our ideal NPI Engineer will be able to effectively collaborate with fellow engineers, our business partners, and production line.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: B.S. in Industrial Engineering or related field, M.S./M.B.A in Engineering or related is a plus. Green Belt certification preferable. Knowledge of APQP, pFMEA, PPAP, MSA, & SPC

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in SMT and PCBA engineering, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry

LANGUAGE: English proficiency required, Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus.

SKILLS:

· Strong analytical skills

· Excellent communication and collaborative skills

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing process

· Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

· Knowledge of Agile is preferred

· Knowledge of Valor DFM is preferred

· Knowledge of NPI process is a plus

· IPC training – industry requirement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide technical guidance or assessment in new product/process development programs

· Prepare engineering documentation to production and support proto build

· Act as the primary interface to customer on engineering related issues

· Determine of influence manufacturing costs and make recommendations for Production (DFX)

· Design and order tooling for assembly process during proto-type stage

· Lead the effort in product transfer among our worldwide facilities

· Participate in advance technology development
