Manager/Supervisor
The IT Security Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s information security program, with a focus on protecting enterprise systems, networks, and data across both corporate and manufacturing environments. This role combines leadership with hands-on expertise in cybersecurity technologies to ensure security operations are effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring of network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Administer and optimize enterprise security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, IAM, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to support threat detection, incident response, and compliance monitoring.
• Lead security incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Conduct internal cybersecurity audits across sites and ensure remediation of identified gaps.
• Support IT audits conducted by key customers and provide required evidence and documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts and alignment with industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Partner with IT, OT, and business units to integrate security requirements into projects and operations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and drive remediation activities.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Deliver security awareness training and promote a strong security culture across the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of progressive IT security experience, including 3+ years in a managerial or lead role.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise-class security technologies (network, endpoint, SIEM, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of security best practices across network, cloud, and endpoint environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience mentoring and developing junior security staff is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred)
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Platform or vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong incident response and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of risk management, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
• Effective communicator and team leader with strong collaboration skills.
