Job Description:

The Network Engineering Manager leads the network team, managing network design, implementation, security, and optimization across North America, while coordinating cross-departmental efforts and resolving network issues
                                            
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the team and responsible for the backbone networks and IT application systems in the North America area, as well as endpoint management and daily IT operations.
  • Plan, design, and implement the overall architecture of the company’s network.
  • Plan, design, and manage the information technology facility.
  • Improve and optimize network design based on business requirements.
  • Design and evaluate the network architecture needed for the deployment of application systems in the manufacturing facility.
  • Implement OA network engineering, backbone network construction and maintenance, and renovation planning.
  • Assess the establishment of information security and manage security system maintenance.
  • Analyze and resolve complex network and security issues.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and manage the team.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
  • Clear understanding of network architecture design (including WAN and LAN), familiarity with the latest network solutions, and preferred practical experience in the design and implementation of large networks, particularly in the manufacturing industry area.
  • Good thinking logic and good architectural design abilities, capable of integrating requirements at various levels to design solutions.
  • Familiar with the architecture design and deployment of enterprise networks, data centers, and cloud platforms, with relevant project implementation and management experience.
  • Knowledgeable about various networking devices and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, including familiarity with the TCP/IP protocol stack, various routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP, LAN, STP, etc.), switching technologies, and network security.
  • Demonstrates strong learning ability, communication and coordination skills, service awareness, and meticulous attention to detail, with good documentation and verbal expression abilities.
  • Good cross-departmental communication skills, capable of coordinating multiple departments to address complex networking issues collaboratively.
  • Experienced in team management.
  • Possession of professional qualifications, such as CCIE, is preferred.

Education and Experience:
 
  • BA/BS in Information Management, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related fields are required.
  • Over 10 years of network-related experience.
  • Proficiency in English required; Mandarin is a plus.
