Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring supply and demand for production use as well as maintaining healthy inventory turns.

                                            

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure material availability in meeting daily production demands to achieve goals and metrics.
  • Analyze daily material status and present shortages to customers in daily conference calls.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure order planning and fulfillment.
  • Mitigate material shortages through internal and external escalation.
  • Perform unplanned component demand verification and upload.
  • Manage material requirement changes and dispositions due to ECN (engineering change notification) and product EOL (end of life).
  • Perform ROP (re-order point) sizing activities monthly.
  • Perform weekly internal E&O (excess and obsolete) analysis including root cause and action plans.
  • Perform quarterly external E&O review process.
  • Manage PPV (price purchase variance) and adhere to established SUK (single user kanban) process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • SAP/Oracle knowledge preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 0- 2 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
